CIPLA has been the leading Connecticut professional association for intellectual property attorneys since its founding in 1946 as the Connecticut Patent Law Association. The association, which broadened its scope to include other areas of intellectual property in 2001, hosts meetings throughout the year featuring lectures on developments in intellectual property law and also periodically files amicus briefs in intellectual property cases. More information about CIPLA may be found on the association’s website – www.cipla.net.
