St. Onge IP Prevails in German Trademark Opposition on Behalf of Its Client Spinmedia (Vibe magazine)

Gene Winter and AnneMarie Provino of St. Onge IP prevailed in a trademark opposition proceeding on behalf of its client Spinmedia, LLC and VIBE magazine trademark. The German Patent and Trade Mark Office entered a Decision against Second GmbH and refused registration of the VIBES trademark in the entire class 41 for “Entertainment, namely, presentation of live performances; organizing cultural events; organization of events for entertainment purposes; organizing parties; operation of night clubs; and planning events”.
