SSJR Wins Appeal Obtaining Reversal of Claim Rejections in Reexamination

SSJR convinced the Board of Patent Appeals and Interferences of the United States Patent and Trademark Office (“Board”), on appeal, that the patent examiner erroneously had rejected numerous patent claims in the reexamination proceeding as being anticipated by or obvious over prior art. In reversing these rejections, the Board upheld the validity of both original patent claims and patent claims SSJR added in the reexamination.
