The updated version of SSJR’s patent and trademark term calculator is now available as a mobile application through the Apple® App.Store. The new version allows users to set alert to be reminded of maintenance deadlines for U.S. patents and trademarks. The SSJR IPCalc is the only mobile application for calculating the expiration date and corresponding maintenance fees and due dates for a U.S. utility patent based on the earliest effective filing date, application filing date, issue date, and term adjustment (if applicable) as well as maintenance and renewal deadlines for issued U.S. trademark registrations. The application allows users to combine the functionality of the firm’s popular website calculators (available at ssjr.com) with the mobility of smart phones and tablet computers. The mobile application is compatible with iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad products.
