SSJR Installs Weather Reporting Station
SSJR installed a solar-powered weather station on the roof of its building at 986 Bedford Street in Stamford. By means of radio frequencies, this unit will wirelessly transmit data to a monitor in the lobby. As a service to the community, these feeds will also tie into the web-based weather resource, Wunderground, becoming this network’s first downtown Stamford site. Equipped with a full suite of sensors, the station will report on temperature, wind speed and direction, precipitation, dew point and humidity.
