SSJR Defends Designer’s Rights to Olympic Sailboat

On March 4, 2013, SSJR filed a complaint in the United States District Court for the District of Connecticut (Case No. 3:13-cv-00297) on behalf of its client, legendary sailor and sailboat designer Bruce Kirby. The complaint alleges that LaserPerformance, Farzad Rastegar, and international sailing regulatory organizations ILCA and ISAF have produced counterfeit Laser Class sailboats using Kirby’s sailboat design.
