Domain Dispute Win for SSJR Client Against a Media Infringer

The SSJR team of Gene Winter and AnneMarie Provino obtained a favorable decision in a UDRP domain name arbitration proceeding, ordering a transfer of the domain name, ClassicMemories.Net to its client Classic Memories.  The site was being used for direct competing digital media services.  The National Arbitration Forum agreed with SSJR’s arguments and concluded that the domain was used to intentionally attempt to attract, for commercial gain, Internet users to its website, by creating a likelihood of confusion with our client’s trademark as to the source, sponsorship, affiliation, or endorsement of the website.
