Domain Dispute Win for SSJR Client against a cybercriminal

On December 10, 2021, the SSJR team of Jonathan Winter and AnneMarie Provino obtained a favorable decision in a UDRP domain name arbitration proceeding, ordering a transfer of the domain name, BLOCKCHAINCAPITAL.ONLINE to its client Blockchain Capital LLC.The site was being used for cyber piracy. The National Arbitration Forum agreed with SSJR’s arguments and concluded that the domain was used to intentionally attempt to attract, for commercial gain, Internet users to its website or other on-line location, by creating a likelihood of confusion with our client’s trademark as to the source, sponsorship, affiliation, or endorsement of the website.
