St Onge IP supports The Food Bank of Lower Fairfield County, Inc., a primary hunger-relief organization that provides food to about 97 non-profit agencies and programs that serve low income people by providing bags of groceries and congregate meals. These progams include soup kitchens, food pantries, child care programs, homeless shelters, senior centers, domestic violence safe houses, and rehabilitation programs.
Each year the Partners and staff collect and donate food to the foodbank for their Thanksgiving and Christmas food drives.
Prior to Thanksgiving and Christmas each year a group of partners and staff volunteer at the foodbank to unpack food donations and stack shelves ready for the non-profit agencies to collect the food supplies they require.
